When Crysis was released back in 2007, it was way ahead of its time. This game had visuals that were totally undreamt of at that time. The game’s graphics were so demanding, that most people could not even run it properly when it got released. Forget about the release, even years after the release, many computers struggled running it. ‘Can it run Crysis?’ soon started to become a meme and became viral. It was made to hint at the resource hungriness of Crysis.
Finally, 13 years after the original release, we are soon going to get a new Crysis game, or rather an old Crysis game in a new form. The game we are going to get is Crysis Remastered, and yes, just as it sounds, it is the remaster of the original Crysis that came out in 2007. So, yes, the game that made computers struggle back in the day, is back again, and this time with improved graphics and visuals. Naturally, the news of the revival of this old game scared many as they thought history would repeat itself. Not to mention, the game actually looks gorgeous. We had even discussed about it in detail in another article. Click here to read more about that.
Now, the official twitter handle of Crysis (@Crysis) has posted a slightly funny post. Well, despite being funny, this new tweet delivers new information about the upcoming Crysis Remastered. At first glance, it would seem just like a regular screenshot, but, it is much more. It is the screenshot of the new upcoming Crysis Remastered at its highest graphics settings. Any guesses as to what will this highest graphical setting be called? Well, the highest graphics setting for this game will be ‘Can it run Crysis?’, And no, we are not joking, it is official. Here, have a look for yourselves:
