A brief video demonstrating the dungeons coming to Classic Timewalking was recently posted by World of Warcraft. World of Warcraft players can take on these six throwback instances, which include four iconic dungeons—two of which are divided into two wings each—during the upcoming 20th anniversary event and again in later Timewalking events when Classic is featured.

Patch 11.0.5 will be released concurrently with World of Warcraft's 20th anniversary celebration on 22nd October. This enormous in-game event, which offers a ton of content for gamers to enjoy, runs until 7th January, 2025. One of the new features is Classic Timewalking, which allows players to experience legendary dungeons at their current level. Players can enter some instances as they were in Vanilla World of Warcraft as early as level 10.

Players can now take a virtual tour of these dungeons in World of Warcraft. Blizzard showcased the Deadmines, Dire Maul, Zul'Farrak, and Stratholme, the four Classic dungeons that will be available in the next World of Warcraft Timewalking event, in a brief video that was shared on Twitter. Fans can queue into a total of six dungeons during Classic Timewalking because Dire Maul and Stratholme are really divided into two distinct wings: the former has the Warpwood Quarter and Capital Gardens, while the latter has the Living and Undead parts.

Almost every dungeon from Vanilla was altered in some way when World of Warcraft rebuilt Azeroth in Cataclysm, including the majority of the dungeons selected for Classic Timewalking. As a result, players will face versions of some dungeons that have been unavailable in the current World of Warcraft for almost 15 years.

Moreover, Timewarped Badges can be used to purchase additional loot obtained through Classic Timewalking. A number of new things are available from Bobadormu, the Classic Timewalking vendor. These include a mount, a toy, multiple pets, reputation tokens, and a variety of transmogrifications, some of which feature item appearances straight from WoW Classic Season of Discovery. These awards, like the event itself, will be back in the future since Classic is being added to the normal Timewalking event cycle.

Regretfully, Classic Timewalking and the Timewalking raid are not currently available in Vanilla WoW, despite the fact that there were many other outdated dungeons in the game, such as the Wailing Caverns and the former Scarlet Monastery wings. But, during the 20th anniversary event, players of World of Warcraft can explore Blackrock Depths, a brand-new raid version of the eponymous expansive dungeon. Though it's unclear if the Blackrock Depths raid will reappear in Classic Timewalking cycles or anniversary events, the instance nonetheless promises a fresh and memorable journey.
