The much awaited Epic Universe, Universal Orlando Resort's fourth theme park, will open on 22nd May, 2025. This major addition to the Universal property has been under development from 2019, with an initial estimated opening date of late 2025.

Universal's most ambitious project, Epic Universe is expected to be the company's largest park to date. For many years, there was no information available regarding the opening date other than the vague deadline of late 2025. Fans have been eagerly awaiting an official opening date for some time as construction is far advanced, with several of the park's themed areas almost finished and numerous rides and props currently undergoing testing.

Epic Universe will be accessible to the whole public starting on 22nd May, 2025, according to Universal. Fans are surprised by this spring launch, but it's the ideal time for a new park to debut. Additionally, Universal has a history of introducing significant park improvements between May and July. It makes sense to bring guests to the resort during a dip in attendance as May is usually a sluggish month for theme parks. There is a caveat to this tactic, though.

Dates For Hotel Reservations And Ticket Packages Unveiled

We're still in the early stages of ticket sales, so more packages, general admission one-day tickets, and other ticket choices including Express passes will be revealed at a later date. Starting on 22nd October, 2024, travelers can buy the existing packages straight from Universal or through travel agencies.

For the time being, multi-day packages are the only option to obtain tickets for Epic Universe.
Three to five days' worth of tickets are included in these packages, along with one extra day for entry into Epic Universe.

Single-day ticket sales are exclusively available to Annual Passholders; sales for these tickets will begin on 24th October, 2024.

On 22nd October, guests will also be able to reserve nights at the Universal Helios Grand Hotel, in addition to ticket bundles. This hotel has its own entrance inside Epic Universe and overlooks the center hub, as depicted in the park's concept image. Reservations do not include admission to theme parks. Note that accommodations at the cheap resorts by the new park, Terra Luna and Stella Nova, are available for reservation now and will open on 21st January, 2025, and 25th February, 2025, respectively.

Fans can check into the current vacation packages starting on Tuesday, 22nd October, while they wait for more details from Universal Orlando Resort regarding the debut of Epic Universe. As Spring 2025 draws nearer, more ticket plan phases will be revealed on the Epic Universe website on a regular basis.
