For its impending 20th anniversary, World of Warcraft is bringing back some of its most beloved anniversary gifts from the past, such as the Obsidian Worldbreaker mount. Some of these collectibles are returning for the first time in sixteen years because these World of Warcraft goods have been unavailable since the conclusion of their respective anniversary celebrations.

On 23rd November, World of Warcraft will celebrate its 20th anniversary. One of World of Warcraft's largest in-game celebrations is being held in honor of the anniversary. It will include new quests like the redesigned Blackrock Depths raid, events like the Codex of Chromie scenario, and the introduction of Classic Timewalking.

But some of the objects that gamers can gather haven't been available for ten years or more. Before, when World of Warcraft reached significant anniversary milestones, like its tenth or fifteenth anniversary, Blizzard would give away free items, like the Molten Corgi. These freebies were no longer available when these milestones passed. It is now returning, along with nearly all other anniversary rewards from the past, to a select trader who will trade them for a small quantity of Bronze Celebration Tokens.

Returning For WoW's 20th Anniversary Are Old Rewards

Since the majority of these prizes date back to the 5th, 10th, and 15th anniversaries, none of them have been offered for at least five years. Nevertheless, it has been sixteen years since the Baby Blizzard Bear pet was made available to users in honor of the game's fourth anniversary. Fans shouldn't have any trouble acquiring all the anniversary things they missed out on because the two mounts only cost 20 Bronze Celebration Tokens, or one-fourth of what a single Tier 2 set would cost. The 19th anniversary of World of Warcraft's Lil' Frostwing pet and Azure Worldchiller mount aren't available at this vendor, although they might be available during the event through other channels.

Fans are obviously ecstatic to have another opportunity to win these prizes. Given how long World of Warcraft has been around, some current players may have been babies when some of these milestones were originally reached. It is always a good idea to strive for FOMO reduction in MMORPGs, and this can be achieved by giving players another opportunity to get these rewards.

The World of Warcraft 20th anniversary event is scheduled to run from 22nd October through 7th January, providing players with 77 days to enjoy it, based on the PTR calendar. As it might be a few years before they get another chance, fans should be sure to claim these anniversary gifts during the festivities.
