The current monster of the five-star raids in Pokemon GO, Groudon, is proving to be difficult for some players to defeat. Pokemon GO has introduced a new rotation of raids as part of the September activities calendar, where players may participate and combat strong creatures while seeing a variety of well-liked Pokemon.

One of the most well-known gaming features of Pokemon GO is raids, when players work together in gyms to kill incredibly powerful monsters and then capture them after the battles. Over the years, Niantic has introduced the Mega, Primal, Shadow, Elite, and EX versions to the normal raids, which have difficulty levels of one, three, and five stars. These variants offer players a variety of difficulties. Trainers noticed that some Legendary Pokemon had been added to the five-star raids in September, but one of these animals is giving them headaches.

Because Groudon utilizes Solar Beam so frequently in raid encounters, Pokemon GO users are finding it difficult. One of the trainers involved in a Groudon raid, Reddit user Ghent_Florin, claims that Hoenn's Legendary Pokemon defeated nine monsters in less than thirty seconds. Impressed, they clarified that although they usually only needed three people to battle the Ground-type, a group of seven trainers had a difficult time winning the battle this time.

Why Did Pokemon GO Raids Just Become So Difficult?

It's easy to come across other blogs bemoaning or ridiculing the difficulty of Groudon raids, pointing out how frequently the Pokemon utilizes Solar Beam, leaving trainers with no time to defend themselves. Raid bosses can now produce energy more quickly thanks to a new update. Furthermore, in contrast to how encounters functioned before to the update, bosses now use their charged strikes anytime they have energy available. Players of Pokemon GO experienced a similar problem with Kyogre, the last five-star raid boss, when the Water-type used Blizzard more frequently than was reasonable.

Developers have changed how frequently raid monsters utilize charged strikes, but it doesn't seem like the adjustment was sufficient to ease player annoyance. As the players of Niantic's game try to figure out how to win in raids, Groudon will be available in normal five-star raids until 26th September and in Raid Hour on 25th September. Following that, Zacian will take its position; he will be accessible till 4th October. Zacian will be the hero of Legendary Heroes, an upcoming Pokemon GO event where trainers will have the opportunity to obtain the shiny variation of the Gen 8 Legendary for the first time, in addition to the five-star raids.
