Elden Ring's Mohg and Morgott were drawn in the visual language of Hades 2. The Omen twins are the collective name for the two brothers.

Like the other Soulsborne games from FromSoftware, Elden Ring from 2022 is renowned for its several difficult boss battles. The Lands Between is home to nearly 200 bosses in the game, yet players only need to defeat a small number of formidable foes to win and access all of the game's numerous endings. Among them is the formidable demigod Morgott the Omen King, who resides in the Leyndell Royal Capital area. A fan of Elden Ring has transformed Morgott and his identical twin, Mohg, Lord of Blood, into figures from a well-liked roguelike game.

Elden Ring's Mohg and Morgott were shown in the artwork of the Hades rogue-like dungeon crawlers made by independent developer Supergiant Games, according to artwork released by artist ASHTHEPENGUIN on Twitter. On May 6, the most recent installment in the series went on sale and garnered positive reviews. Hades 2 is a huge hit on Steam, where over 37,000 people have left reviews, earning it an overall Very Positive rating.

ASTHEPENGUIN's drawings received a lot of attention on Twitter, and some fans asked the artist to sketch Malenia next, who is regarded as Elden Ring's hardest boss. In addition to the Omen twins, ASHTHEPENGUIN has previously created fan art of Melina, Miquella, the Tree Sentinel, and other Elden Ring characters.

Miquella, Malenia's brother, is the main character of the upcoming Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. The plot of this DLC, which is slated to release on June 21, takes place in a brand-new area known as The Land of Shadow. Public revelations of a new Elden Ring armor set and one of the expansion's characters—the enigmatic Messmer the Impaler—have already occurred. In an interview, FromSoftware president and Elden Ring director Hidetaka Miyazaki stated that Messmer will be crucial to the DLC and that one of the character's major components will be the expansion's shadow theme.

Marketing materials show Shadow of the Erdtree's Messmer brandishing a big spear and doing fire magic. Since he is accompanied by a snake, some fans have speculated that he may be related to Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy, an optional boss that can be found in the Altus Plateau region of Elden Ring and is connected to snakes.
