Kobolds Rave 2 is an online Dota 2 tournament organized by Cringe Station. The tournament has already commenced on 17th March 2024 and will conclude on 9th May 2024. A total of 9 teams are participating in this tournament and the prize pool is $90,000 USD. Let's have a look into the specifics of this tournament.

Kobolds Rave 2 Format

Group Stage matches has started from 17th April and will conclude on 3rd May 2024. There is One single round-robin group consisting of nine teams. Best of three series format is applicable for all matches. 2–0 awards winner will get 3 points. 2–1 awards winner will get 2 points and loser will get 1 point. Top two teams will proceed to Upper Bracket Semifinals of the playoffs. 3rd to 6th placed teams will proceed to Upper Bracket Quarterfinals of the playoffs. 7th and 8th placed teams will proceed to the lower bracket of the playoffs. Remaining teams will be eliminated.

Playoffs will be held from 4th May to 9th May, 2024. Double-elimination bracket will be applied. Grand Final will be played in best of five series and all other matches will be played in best of three series.

In the upcoming matches, KEV will compete against YG, XctN will play against Bright and Bright will play against Spiky.

Prizepool

• The event boasts a total prize pool of $90,000 USD, with the distribution as follows:
• The champion will be awarded $36,000
• The second-place team will receive $22,500.
• The third-place holder will take home $13,500.
• The fourth-place finisher will be rewarded with $6,000.
•  The 5th-6th position holders will each receive  $3,500.
• The teams securing 7th-8th positions will each receive $2,000.
• The teams securing 9th and 10th positions will take home $1,000 each.
