ESL One Birmingham 2024 is an offline Dota 2 tournament, taking place in Resorts World Arena, Birmingham. Organized by ESL Gaming, this tournament boasts a prize pool of $1,000,000 USD. It will commence on 22nd April 2024 and will conclude on 28th April 2024. Total 12 teams are participating in this tournament. Let's have a look into the specifics of this tournament.
ESL One Birmingham 2024 Format
Twelve teams are participating in this competition, in which four teams will be from EPT Leaderboard and eight teams will be from regional qualifiers. Top two teams from each group will advance to upper bracket of playoffs and 3rd and 4th place teams from each group will advance to lower bracket of playoffs. Remaining teams will be eliminated.
Playoffs will be held from 26th April to 28th April 28, 2024. Matches will be played in double elimination bracket and all matches except the Grand Final will be in best of three series. Grand Final will be played in best of five series.

Prize Pool
The event boasts a total prize pool of $1,000,000 USD, with the distribution as follows:
The champion will be awarded $300,000 and 6400 EPT points.
The second-place team will receive $175,000 and 4800 EPT points.
The third-place holder will take home $120,000 and 4000 EPT points.
The fourth-place finisher will be rewarded with $85,000 and 3200 EPT points.
The fifth and sixth position holders will receive $57,500 each and 2240 EPT points.
The seventh and eighth place holder will each receive $47,500 each and 1040 EPT points.
The ninth and tenth place holders will take home $30,000 each and 560 EPT points.
The eleventh and twelfth place holders will be awarded $25,000 each and 280 EPT points.
