Alimzhan "watson" Islambekov, one of the best Dota 2 players in the world, recently faced harsh criticism from several Chinese players, notably Lu "Somnus" Yao, Yang "Chalice" Shenyi, Zhou "Yang" Haiyang, and Yu "皴됃" Yajun, about his Terrorblade gameplay.

The incident happened during Entity's game against Azure Ray in the current Elite League on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.

The Chinese trio specifically criticized Watson for his Terrorbalde skill build, pointing out that he chose to put stat points rather than level up Reflection.

Because to Terrorblade's enhanced Reflection in the most recent patch, the Dota 2 community is demonstrating its support for the character. Entity Watson, who performed heroically as a carry versus Azure Ray in the Elite League, refrained from leveling up Reflection in favor of gaining an advantage by giving stats priority.

Chinese gamers who were once part of Team Aster, Vici Gaming, and Azure Ray harshly attacked this dubious design.

The group, which included Yang, Somnus, Chalice, and 횮됃, made fun of Watson's rookie build. Watson is among the best Dota 2 players in the world.

Watson plays too many pubs, so Somnus even went so far as to say that he doesn't think about his skill development since his brain works on autopilot.

Yang questioned the build as well, pointing out that the opponent team had a Dragon Knight wielding an Aghanim's Scepter, which would put it at a disadvantage due to the significant damage Terroblade's Reflection would deal.

Chalice was the first to notice the unusual skill build on Watson's Terrorblade, claiming that the build was a beginner move even though the player had 13.5K MMR.

This critical evaluation was brought about by the improved Reflection skill, which would have been more beneficial to Entity given its high damage output—a sufficient justification for some experts to choose it as a support.
