The first week of The Grind qualifications has ended, with numerous well-known squads like iQOO Soul, Medal Esports, Team 8Bit, and Entity Gaming competing in the year's biggest Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) event, BGMI India Series (BGIS) 2024.

On Instagram, Vishwas "Juicy" Battoo, the In Game Leader (IGL) of Team 8Bit, recently posted a few tales about how, on Day 4 of the first week of BGIS 2024 The Grind, his team and numerous other teams had server problems.

8Bit Juicy reports that on Week 1 Day 4 of BGIS 2024 The Grind, there were significant server problems

On April 7, 2024, Juicy posted a number of tales on his Instagram account, revealing that his team, Team 8Bit, was having serious server problems and had been ousted early on from the blue zone on the Erangel map. He also related tales from other teams that on Day 4 of The Grind tournament encountered server problems.

Juicy posted on his Instagram story, asking, "Don't you think the tournament organizers should rehost that match if every team in the queue is having server problems? After the first game of BGIS The Grind, not only did our team die in the blue zone, but other teams also requested a rematch, but the organizers are refusing to hold the match again. Our guys were immobile and died in vain. We were unable to stop it. Is this equitable? Everyone was sluggish in match 1, as you can see from the stream of the players' actions.

Teams will have another opportunity to qualify for the main event through the in-game qualifiers during the Grind event, which serves as a qualifying event for the BGIS 2024 Main Event. During the four weeks of The Grind, each team will play just six matches. This means that every match matters because only the top 64 teams from 256 will advance to the BGIS 2024 main event.

128 teams competed in the first week of the event, and the remaining 128 teams will compete in Week 2 of the event, which is set to start on April 10. It will be fascinating to watch how Krafton responds to the problem the teams encountered on the fourth day of competition.
