In a groundbreaking union set to redefine the esports domain, PUBG Mobile and Honor of Kings, the stalwarts of Battle Royale and MOBA genres respectively, are poised for a global expansion in collaboration with the Esports World Cup Foundation.

The partnership between Level Infinite, the global gaming brand under Tencent, and the Esports World Cup Foundation heralds a new era for esports enthusiasts worldwide. Over the next three years, this alliance aims to foster the growth of PUBG Mobile and Honor of Kings esports ecosystems, offering a plethora of opportunities for individuals across various domains within the industry.

At the heart of this initiative lies a commitment to host more than 1,000 esports events worldwide for PUBG Mobile and Honor of Kings in 2024 alone. These events will not only serve as battlegrounds for aspiring professional players but also as platforms for content creators, production experts, and other professionals to showcase their talents and contribute to the burgeoning esports landscape.

Vincent Wang, General Manager of Global Publishing and Global Esports at Tencent Games, representing Level Infinite, emphasized the brand's dedication to nurturing the next generation of esports athletes and fostering an inclusive and accessible community. "The global esports sector is experiencing exponential growth," Wang stated. "As a brand, we are committed to facilitating game development and nurturing the next generation of game titles and esports athletes, fostering a community centered around inclusivity, connectivity, and accessibility."

Ralf Reichert, CEO of the Esports World Cup Foundation, echoed Wang's sentiments, emphasizing the foundation's mission to build a sustainable global esports infrastructure. "Our partnership with Level Infinite directly supports that mission, adding two of the most-played games to the Esports World Cup program for players and fans across the globe," Reichert affirmed.

As part of this collaboration, PUBG Mobile is set to unveil the highly anticipated PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC), featuring a staggering $3 million USD prize pool alongside the prestigious world champion title. The event, building upon the success of the previous PUBG Mobile World Invitational (PMWI), aims to elevate competition to new heights through a performance-led team selection process.
