Spacestation Gaming has reentered the Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) arena, aiming to make a resounding impact. The formidable North American organization has strategically solidified its roster by welcoming the exceptionally skilled Apex team, PLP, into the fold.

Today's announcement echoes the return of Spacestation Gaming's familiar face – a lineup featuring former FaZe Clan IGL Josue “Phony” Ruiz, Brody “Xynew” Geissler, a proven DarkZero fragger, and the seasoned SSG veteran Joseph “Frexs” Sanchez, who boasts an impressive resume with stints at FaZe, NRG, and C9. The trio is complemented by the astute coaching and analytical prowess of Dan Barbour, a former FaZe coach.

As the anticipation builds for SSG's representation in the upcoming ALGS Pro League, the team already commands a position in the top 10 of the fiercely competitive North American scene. Notably, the now-former PLP team secured a triumphant victory in their second matchday, outshining formidable opponents including DarkZero, FURIA, XSET, Moist Esports, Disguised, and more.

Frexs, a pivotal figure in Spacestation Gaming, assumes the role of IGL, showcasing his leadership prowess after successfully steering the team through 2022 and 2023. Under his guidance, the squad consistently qualified for LAN events alongside prominent players like Angello “xenial” Cadenas and Mark “Dropped” Thees. Despite previous concerns prompting SSG's temporary exit from Apex, citing revenue-sharing issues, the team is now poised for a powerful resurgence.

This time, Phony takes the reins as the IGL, building on his LAN experience with FaZe and clinching notable fifth and sixth-place finishes at the Split Two Playoffs and ALGS Championship alongside Frexs and Snip3down. Xynew, the latest addition to this seasoned lineup, injects a fresh dynamic with his exceptional fighting abilities, leaving ALGS fans eagerly anticipating the squad's performance.

Phony's recent acknowledgment of the team's strategic shift is telling of their approach. Reflecting on past experiences, he noted a shift in mindset, expressing trust in his current team's ability to navigate early fights, a stark contrast to his previous approach with FaZe.
