WWE 2K24 has finally been revealed by 2K and Visual Concepts, much to the delight of fans who had been waiting for this long. For obvious reasons, the game is still unfinished, but the reveal definitely lives up to the hype. A WrestleMania-themed Showcase and numerous WWE 2K24 cover stars are just two of the many intriguing features of this year's entry.

WWE 2K24 is available in three editions. The Standard Edition's cover art features "The American Nightmare" by Cody Rhodes. The Deluxe Edition is the first game/edition in the series to ever feature two female superstars on the cover, Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley. Andre the Giant, Stone Cold, and other wrestling legends are among the legends featured on the cover of the Forty Years of WrestleMania Edition. John Cena, Bret "Hitman" Hart, Triple H, Becky Lynch, Roman Reigns, Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker, and The Rock. 8th March is the release date of the Standard Edition; the Special Editions are released on 5th March, three days earlier.

WWE 2K24 Is a Significant Improvement Over WWE 2K23

In addition to all the match types that fans loved in WWE 2K23, WWE 2K24 will feature four more highly-requested match types: gauntlet matches, ambulance matches, casket matches, and special guest referee matches. Both overall gameplay enhancements and specific enhancements to a number of the existing match kinds are available in WWE 2K24. Backstage Brawls, for example, can now support four players and has new environmental elements like a working elevator, breakable glass, and a soda vending machine that contains throwables. The Royal Rumble will allow eight players to compete in 30-man online matches.

Game Modes For WWE 2K24

Unlike WWE 2K23, which highlighted the career of a single superstar like John Cena, this year's showcase honors The Grandest Stage of Them All and is entirely focused on WrestleMania. Unsurprisingly, WWE 2K's Slingshot Tech is back, allowing players to switch between gameplay and live-action video in the middle of a match. It is still unknown which matches will be included in the WWE 2K24 Showcase according to Visual Concepts and 2K. There will be the following game modes accessible:

  • MyGM Mode in WWE 2K24
  • MyRISE Mode in WWE 2K24
  • MyFACTION Mode in WWE 2K24
  • Universe Mode In WWE 2K24

WWE 2K24 Entire Superstar List Verified Up until now

WWE 2K24 has a roster of more than 200 Superstars, including those that can be unlocked in-game, as DLC, at launch, and more. As of this writing, the following superstars are confirmed for the game based on Cover Stars, gameplay images, and details from 2K and Visual Concepts:

The primary concern among all individuals, in my opinion, is whether or not CM Punk will be playable in WWE 2K24. Considering how popular he is, fans should expect 2K and Visual Concepts to discuss his involvement in the game before its release, even though he hasn't been confirmed yet. Given the length of time that has elapsed since CM Punk's return at SurvivorSeries and the release of WWE 2K24, along with any potential contractual obligations, it wouldn't be shocking to see him left off this roster. However, adding CM Punk as a DLC might be possible.
