Electronic Sports Broadcasting (ESB), a prominent Peruvian tournament organizer, is set to redefine the Dota 2 competitive landscape in 2024 with a staggering $2 million USD investment in their Liga 2024 series. The Liga 2024 comprises three Tours, featuring a duo of $500,000 tournaments and a grand finale with a jaw-dropping $1 million prize pool. The first Tour kicks off in April, followed by the second in July-August, and the climactic third installment in November-December.

Breaking the news via Twitter, ESB not only highlighted the colossal prize pools but also teased innovative formats and the participation of heavyweight global teams. The tournaments are poised to become a crucible for emerging talents and established giants alike.

ESB's tweet also reflected on their journey since their inception in 2018, expressing gratitude to their dedicated viewers. It stated that several years ago, they embarked on this journey, starting from humble beginnings with professionalism, humility, and tremendous effort. Gradually, they've built a close relationship with all of those who follow them diligently in every broadcast they make.

While ESL had previously outlined their plans for Dota 2 tournaments through the ESL Pro Tour (EPT), ESB and BetBoom have emerged as formidable contenders in reshaping the esports landscape. BetBoom, in tandem with ESB's announcement, disclosed their plans for two events boasting $1 million each, scheduled for February and October 2024.
