The Reignite Open Tournament, organized by Riot Games and INVATE is an upcoming online League of Legends (LoL) tournament taking place in Thailand. This tournament marks the official return of League of Legends esports in Thailand region. It is all set to commence from tomorrow, 14th December with a total of 8 teams, who made their way through two qualifiers. The tournament boasts a prize pool of  ฿240,000 THB, which is equivalent to $6,725 USD. As the name suggests, it is an open-for-all tournament. Let's learn more about the tournament. 

Tournament Format and Schedule 

The tournament is all set to commence on 14th December and will run till 17th December. Eight underdog teams will compete against each other in a single elimination bracket. They will be seeded according to their qualifier seedings, each match will be of best of 3 Game series, while the Grand Final will be of Best of 5 Game series. Pacific server will be followed for the matches.

The total ฿240,000 THB ($6,725 USD) will be distributed among all the teams as follows:

• The team that will secure 1st position will get  ฿100,000 THB ($2,801.89)
• The team that will secure 2nd position will get ฿ 50,000 THB ($1,400.94)
• The team that will secure 3rd position will get ฿ 30,000 THB ($840.57)
• The team that will secure 4th position will get ฿ 20,000 THB ($560.38)
• The teams that will secure 5th to 8th place will get ฿10,000 THB each. ($280.19)
