Valve, the mastermind behind Dota 2, has sent shockwaves through the gaming community with the announcement of the impending release of Gameplay Patch 7.34e. Set to debut on Monday, November 20, this revelation comes on the heels of an in-game notification on November 17, heralding the final weekend for players to revel in the strategies dominating The International 2023.

Dota 2 Patch 7.34e Expected Changes

A collective exhale echoes through the Dota 2 community, hinting at the potential demise of the Blademail meta and the overbearing presence of Bristleback in every match. Strategies causing consternation include Bristleback’s Aghanim’s Scepter Rush, Spirit Breaker’s swift map traversal with minimal cooldowns, the unconventional Dazzle core, and more.

Bristleback's dominance, characterized by skill point hoarding on 'Bristleback' and an Aghanim’s Scepter-fueled quill spray onslaught, might face its reckoning. The imminent patch could bring relief from the notorious Spirit Breaker, who currently boasts an impressive 51.02% win rate. His strategy involves a rapid progression from Hand of Midas to Octarine Core, augmenting map presence and unpredictable team fight contributions. As a nod to Team Spirit's triumph at The International 2023, Valve has even renamed Spirit Breaker to Team Spirit Breaker.

A metamorphosis in the meta might also involve revisions to Blademail and Heart of Tarrasque. Blademail, standing strong with a 50.31% win rate, and the formidable 65.93% win rate of Heart of Tarrasque have dictated the mid-lane landscape. Notably, Dota 2 pro Illya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk, in a recent stream, advocated for the Blademail-Heart of Tarrasque combination as a foolproof route to triumph.

The dynamic patch 7.34d witnessed the ascent of Dazzle as a potent core hero, a revelation pioneered by Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen. Armed with Aghanim’s Scepter, Dazzle morphed into a damage powerhouse, utilizing Shadow Wave to rain havoc on affected enemies.
