TSM has emerged as the ultimate champions of the Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) 2023 Championship. In a journey full of obstacles, TSM showed unwavering determination and a remarkable comeback to etch their name in the annals of ALGS history.
TSM Stages a Remarkable Comeback to Win the ALGS 2023 Championship
The peak of their performance was witnessed in the grand final, where TSM defied all odds by securing three consecutive match wins. This stunning performance left the entire lobby in awe and solidified their status as the champions of the Apex Legends world.
ImperialHal, a popular name in the Apex community, played a pivotal role in TSM's success. After months of debates about who holds the title of the greatest Apex player of all time, it's safe to say that Hal has claimed the throne, at least for now. What makes this victory even sweeter for him is that he achieved his dream of winning in front of his family, marking another significant milestone in his illustrious career.
However, TSM's victory was far from assured, as they faced adversity early in the tournament. In the first three matches of the day, they only managed to accumulate five points. OpTic Gaming seemed poised to snatch the championship after game three, nearly ending the competition in game four. Still, they were denied by NRG in a nail-biting final three-vs-three showdown.
TSM's comeback story began in game six, where they clinched a crucial victory that helped them regain their footing. Their subsequent win in game seven put them on match point and denied other formidable teams, including OpTic, BLVKHVND, FaZe Clan, and LG Chivas, who were also vying for the title.
The final showdown witnessed TSM strategically winning key battles outside of Thunder Watch, securing a dominant position in the closing moments. This remarkable victory mirrored their earlier triumph at the Split One Playoffs, showcasing their consistency and mastery of the game.

The ALGS 2023 Championship was a massive showdown of the prowess of North America and APAC South regions. OpTic Gaming claimed second place, while North American trio The Dojo, led by iiTzTimmy, secured fourth, fifth, and sixth positions. FaZe Clan and LG Chivas were hot on their heels. In the APAC South region, BLVKHVND's consistent performances earned them a well-deserved third place, with DreamFire finishing seventh and Thai trio IronBloodGaming taking tenth.
Notably, Pioneers represented EMEA and secured eighth place, while Realize represented APAC North in ninth. South America's SAF Esports, the sole representative from their region in the finals, finished in 14th place, displaying the global reach of Apex Legends esports.
