Gaimin Gladiators defeated BetBoom in a best-of-three series and eliminated it from the championship in the Riyadh Masters 2023 Playoffs Lower Bracket (LB) Quarterfinals. Gaimin Gladiators proved their resilience and prowess as they executed a remarkable reverse sweep, securing a spot in the Top 4 and keeping their dreams of claiming a sixth-straight tier 1 tournament championship alive.

Anton "dyrachyo" Shkredov's Medusa took the center stage, amassing an impressive seven kills and only two deaths, while his team secured a dominant 19-9 kill lead. In just 38 minutes, Gaimin Gladiators tied the series, forcing a decisive Game Three that would determine the ultimate victor of the intense matchup.

Game 3:

The last game was a tense back-and-forth struggle. As the minutes ticked by, Gaimin Gladiators showcased their exceptional teamwork and strategic prowess, slowly gaining the upper hand. Utilizing timely buybacks, the Major champions orchestrated critical teamfights around the Roshan pit. In a climactic moment around the 39-minute mark, Gaimin Gladiators executed a flawless pick-off on Nightfall's Juggernaut and Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko's Tidehunter, leaving BetBoom without the means to mount a counterattack. 

With a thrilling 2-1 reverse sweep, Gaimin Gladiators secured their position in the Top 4 of the Riyadh Masters and guaranteed themselves a lucrative prize of US$1.2 million.
