Team SouL, one of India's prominent Battleground Mobile India (BGMI) teams, is struggling to perform up to the mark since BGMI’s relaunch. The team’s coach Amit Dubey recently shed light on why the team can’t sign Blind Esports’s Rudra “SPower” B, who is rumored to leave the team.

Amit Explains Difficulties Associated With Fielding a Six-Player BGMI Roster

During a recent livestream, a viewer asked Amit about the possibility of Team SouL signing SPower. Responding to this, Amit expressed his reservations. He mentioned that the team is already facing difficulties in selecting the best four players from their existing roster of five for competitive play. Introducing a sixth player like SPower would further complicate the decision-making process. Amit acknowledged that if SPower were to join, it would be challenging to determine the four players who would participate in matches, as two would inevitably have to be benched.

Amit emphasized that the team values the talent and potential of all its players and does not wish to waste it. To ensure fair opportunities for everyone, Team SouL regularly rotates its playing four, allowing each member to showcase their skills. Amit agreed that SPower could be a good addition to the team, but he also highlighted the importance of consistent performance. If a player underperforms in multiple tournaments, the team might consider bringing in a new player as a quick judgment to maintain competitiveness and improve results.
