Team SMG Announces New Roster Ahead Of DPC SEA 2023 Tour 3: Division I

One of the most prominent Southeast Asian Dota 2 teams, Team SMG, has announced its new roster ahead of the highly anticipated Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) SEA 2023 Tour 3: Division I. The team has made some significant changes to its lineup, including the addition of two new players and the return of one of its star players to his former position.

Jaunuel and Masaros Joins Team SMG’s Dota 2 Roster

Jaunuel "Jaunuel" Arcilla and Natthaphon "Masaros" Ouanphakdee are the latest additions to the Team SMG roster. Jaunuel, who previously played for Geek Slate, will take on the support role for the team, while Masaros, formerly part of Bleed Esports' inactive roster, will take on the offlane position. The team is hopeful that these new additions will provide the necessary firepower and skill to compete at the highest level in the Dota 2 competitive scene.

Moreover, Yeik "MidOne" Nai Zheng, one of the star players of Team SMG, has returned to his former position as the midlaner. MidOne was previously playing in the offlane role, but the team management believes that his skills and experience will be better utilized in the midlane. This position switch has been confirmed, and MidOne will now lead the team in his familiar role.

Team SMG's full roster heading into Tour 3 of the Dota 2 Pro Circuit 2023 is now as follows:

  • Natthaphon "Masaros" Ouanphakdee

Team SMG's journey in the DPC SEA 2023 Tour 3: Division I begins with a challenging matchup against Talon Esports, currently regarded as the strongest team in Southeast Asia. The DPC SEA 2023 Tour 3: Division I will start on 15th May and will take place until 5th June. Teams will compete against each other for valuable DPC Points and to qualify for The International (TI).
