Team Indonesia 2 Wins Gold Medal In PUBG Mobile at 32nd SEA Games

Team Indonesia 2 has emerged as the champions of the PUBG Mobile team competition at the 32nd SEA Games, clinching the gold medal after a three-day Grand Finale featuring 16 teams. The event took place from 11th to 14th May and featured 19 squads from ten countries.

Team Indonesia 2 proved to be the standout performers of the tournament, scoring a total of 178 points and claiming five Chicken Dinners to secure the gold medal for its nation. The team included the following players:

  • Haikal "Yummy" Aditya
  • Boycil
  • Teuku "Ponbit" Kausa
  • Alan "Star" Kumaseh

All players demonstrated exceptional gameplay throughout the competition, with its standout performance coming on the second day of the finals where the team acquired three Chicken Dinners in a row and climbed to the top of the leaderboard.

Team Vietnam 1 clinched the silver medal after accumulating 152 points in the finals. The team players from the professional roster of D'Xavier, a well-known PUBG Mobile team in Vietnam. On the other hand, Team Vietnam 2, consisting of players from ShineLike Diamond, secured the bronze medal after finishing only one point behind the silver medalists.

Team Malaysia 1 missed out on a podium finish by a mere six points, coming in fourth place in the 32nd SEA Games. The reputed squad, which included the famous PUBG Mobile player Dhiya Ulhaq "uHigh" Mohd Arasz and members of Geek Slate, put up a solid performance but failed to secure a medal.

Prior to the final day, Team Indonesia 1 had secured the third position, but its standing dropped to fifth place with a total of 124 points at the conclusion of the event. The team collected only 29 points in the last six games, leading it to lose its position in the leaderboard.

Team Cambodia 2, which featured players from the PUBG Mobile National Championship 2023 winner Kill Enemy, finished in sixth place with 112 points. Despite garnering three Chicken Dinners, Myanmar 2 could not cross the 100-point mark and finished in eighth place.

Team Thailand 2, which featured The Infinity's player, failed to secure a respectable spot in the tournament, coming in ninth place with only 96 points. During the Qualifier stage, Team Thailand 1 was eliminated from the competition. On the other hand, LAOS 1 and Malaysia 2 managed to secure 10th and 11th positions respectively, even though they only secured one Chicken Dinner each. The two teams from the Philippines put on an mediocre performance and finished in the 13th and 15th positions.
