SEA Games 2023 PUBG Mobile: Countries, Schedule, Format, and More

The highly-anticipated 32nd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games is just around the corner, and esports enthusiasts around the world are excited to see the PUBG Mobile competition. Cambodia is set to host the event from 11th to 15th May, which will feature both team and individual tournaments with players from the Southeast Asian region competing for medals and pride.

SEA Games 2023 PUBG Mobile: Everything You Need To Know

The team competition will consist of two rounds: the Qualifiers and the Grand Finals. The Qualifiers will take place on 11th May and the Grand Finals will take place from 12th to 14th May.

A total of 19 teams from 10 countries will fight against each other in Qualifiers for the 16 slots in the Grand Finals. The team competition will feature some of the top athletes from their respective countries representing their counties. Follow are all the countries participating in the SEA Games 2023 PUBG Mobile:

  • Indonesia
  • Laos
  • Malaysia
  • Myanmar
  • Philippines
  • Timor Leste
  • Thailand
  • Vietnam
  • Brunei

It is important to note that except Brunei, all countries will have two teams representing it.

Indonesia's teams are composed of experienced PUBG Mobile athletes, with veterans such as Nizar "Microboy" Pratama, Sharfan "Potato" Shodiq, and Eksa "RedFace" Jayanto playing for Team Indonesia 1. Renowned players Made "Luxxy" Prabaswara and Muhammad "Ryzen" Albi will be deployed in the second unit. Meanwhile, both teams from Thailand will feature professional players from Infinity and Vampire Esports, respectively, both of which are considered to have some of the best lineups worldwide.

The Malaysian teams will be represented by Geek Slate's players, including Bigetron Esports’ Dhiya Ulhaq "uHigh" Mohd Arasz, who will compete as a squad for Team Malaysia 1, while three players from Don't Break Dreams and TS Jumper will play in Team 2. The Myanmar teams will include members from both Yangon Galacticos and Genesis Esports. PMPl Spring Vietnam champion D'Xavier's players will represent Myanmar in Team 1, while Shine Like Diamond's players will represent the country in Team 2.

The solo tournament, scheduled for 15th May, will feature solo players from 10 countries. It will be interesting to see which team and player will emerge as the ultimate champions. Stay tuned for more updates on the SEA Games 2023 PUBG Mobile competition.
