Dota 2 Berlin Major 2023 Grand Finals Recap

In the Grand Finals, Gaimin Gladiators got off to a flying start, showcasing their mid game prowess and winning the first game in 44 minutes. Led by Marcus "Ace" Hoelgaard's Magnus, Gaimin Gladiators caught out Liquid heroes in key teamfights while Quinn "Quinn" Callahan paced the team's 28-18 kill lead with 10 kills against three deaths.

Liquid, however, quickly bounced back and secured their first-ever win against Gaimin Gladiators across both the Lima and Berlin Majors in a one-sided second game. Boxi had an impressive showing on Techies, helping to shut down their opponents across all three lanes and give his cores space to go ham in clashes.

In the crucial third game, Quinn demonstrated exceptional gameplay as Gaimin Gladiators took the lead right from the laning stage and steadily progressed towards a 34-minute triumph. The Gladiators built an impenetrable deathball that absorbed every attack from Liquid. Even with their utmost efforts to stage a recovery, Liquid failed to make an impact as Gaimin Gladiators executed a teamwipe in the final clash, securing their win at the 33-minute mark.

The final showdown was sealed by Gaimin Gladiators with an almost indomitable strategy that had an abundance of destructive power, remarkable endurance, and worldwide reach. Dyrachyo commanded the Alchemist, Quinn was in charge of Leshrac, and Ace led the Underlord, creating an invincible front line. Meanwhile, Erik "tOfu" Engel skillfully controlled the Techies, and Melchior "Seleri" Hillenkamp adeptly wielded the Io to provide both teamfight management and healing from the back.
