Call of Duty Warzone 2, the popular battle royale game, has released a new update for Season 3, bringing with it a host of new features, including a new playlist, the return of Plunder mode, and several gameplay changes. This update is set to breathe new life into the game and keep players engaged in the coming weeks.

COD Warzone 2 Season 3 Brings Back Plunder Mode and a New Playlist For Al Mazrah

One of the most significant additions is the return of Plunder mode, a classic feature from the previous iteration of Warzone. Plunder mode is now available on the new map, Al Mazrah, and comes with unique challenges and public events. In Plunder mode, players must collect as much cash as possible while battling it out with other players. To keep your hard-earned money safe, you can deposit your cash at various stations around the map, and you can also purchase cash deposit balloons to bank up to 300K.

In addition to Plunder mode, the 26th April update has also introduced a new playlist for Al Mazrah, where players can experience a variety of modes. This includes Quads, Trios, and Solos with varying player counts and gameplay rules. The new playlist also features the revival of old playlists, such as Resurgence on Ashika Island.

The developers have also introduced new public events and challenges, providing players with the opportunity to earn big cash payouts. The Cash Drop event sees supply boxes parachuting in with cash, while the Contractor event doubles the cash reward for all contracts for a short time. The Blood Money event doubles the cash reward for killing other players, and the Choke Hold event triggers a gas circle in long-lasting matches. Finally, the Attack Choppers event sees dangerous choppers dropping big payouts when taken down.

To keep things interesting, Warzone 2 has introduced new items to buy, such as Life Insurance at the buy station to lose less unbanked cash when you die. You can also grab a Discount Card to pay less for later purchases. Additionally, the Overtime feature is triggered when the first team collects $2 million in cash. All grabbed cash is worth double in Overtime, and the team with the most cash at the end wins the match.
