Ceb the former offlaner for OG, sat down with his teammate and current captain, Johan "N0tail" Sundstein, to discuss the upcoming changes in Dota 2 patch 7.33. N0tail, who is known for his strategic and innovative gameplay, shared his wishlist for the upcoming patch, which includes some significant changes to heroes and items.

One of the main areas that N0tail would like to see improved is the support role. He feels that support heroes are not as impactful in the early game as they should be and that their impact in the late game is limited. He suggests buffing some of the weaker support heroes, such as Disruptor and Ancient Apparition, to make them more viable picks. He also hopes to see more support-oriented items that can help support players transition into the late game more smoothly.

Notail stated,  “I don’t know how easy it is to go about these things, but I think it is possible to change”.

N0tail also discussed the current state of carry heroes in Dota 2, stating that he would like to see a shift away from the current trend of focusing on hard-hitting, high-damage carries. He believes that Dota 2 is at its best when there is a diverse range of viable heroes and playstyles, and he hopes that the next patch will encourage more creativity in the carry role.

In terms of individual hero changes, N0tail hopes to see some adjustments to heroes that are currently struggling in the meta. He suggests that Puck could use a small buff to make the hero more viable in competitive play, and that Treant Protector could use some tweaks to his abilities to make him more versatile.

Notail stated,"“You change how regen works, there are only charges for your team. You can buy some regen at the side shop. You can no longer spam salves or tangos, but you can buy that stuff at the side shop. But there is only X amount for the side lanes, so the mid has to get the first set of tangoes then the sidelane has to manage what they have and what they use”

N0tail also discussed the importance of items in Dota 2 and how they can shape the game's meta. He hopes to see some new items that encourage unique playstyles, such as an item that allows heroes to use their ultimate abilities more frequently, or an item that enhances the power of illusions.

Notail stated," My recommendation for a while is to change how quickly the couriers come into play. My recommendation would be to either change this regen stuff alone, you can do it exclusively to change how the laning phase gets played out. And/or you could do something with the couriers like you don’t get five couriers or they’re even slower in the beginning.”

Finally, N0tail shared his thoughts on the current state of the game's matchmaking system. He believes that the system needs to be more flexible and accommodating for players of different skill levels, and that more emphasis should be placed on creating a positive and supportive environment for players.

Overall, N0tail's wishlist for patch 7.33 is focused on improving the diversity and creativity of the game. He believes that Dota 2 is at its best when there is a range of viable heroes and playstyles, and that the next patch should encourage players to experiment with new strategies and approaches to the game. Whether or not his wishlist comes to fruition remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure: Dota 2 players around the world are eagerly awaiting the next patch and the changes it will bring.
