Later this month, Decidueye the Unrivaled—whose Primary type is the Flying-type—will appear in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet as the March seven-star raid battle. Just one week had passed since Pokémon Day and The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, the DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, were announced. The DLC will be released later this year and is divided into two pieces with the titles The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk. The Pokémon series is still going strong as it marks its 27th anniversary this year. The Arrow Quill Pokémon is the next one on the list for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet players to confront, with new Tera raid battles constantly being added.

This month, there will be two runs of the seven-star Tera raid combat against Decidueye the Unrivaled. The first run runs from Friday, March 17, 0:00 UTC, until Sunday, March 19, 23:59 UTC. Trainers will then get a second chance to catch Decidueye on the rest of the weekend, starting at 0:00 UTC on Friday, March 24, and ending at 23:59 UTC on Sunday, March 26. Rowlet, the Grass-type starter of the Alola region, evolved into Decidueye, the game's final form, in Pokémon Sun and Moon for the Nintendo 3DS. It last made an appearance in Pokémon Legends: Arceus as a Hisuian variation. But in the upcoming raid battle, players will have to get ready for the original Alolan version of the boss.

The Arrow Quill Pokémon is typically a Grass and Ghost dual-type and a mixed attacker in combat against Decidueye the Unrivaled. In its move set, Decidueye has Grass and Ghost moves like Leaf Blade and its distinguishing Spirit Shackle. Also, it is capable of using flying-related moves like Brave Bird, Hurricane, and Aerial Ace. Decidueye the Unrivaled presumably possesses the secret talent Long Reach, as was the case with Cinderace and Greninja, which eliminates any negative effects that might have resulted from performing attacks that made physical contact.

Magnezone's Electric and Steel dual-type serves as a natural protection against Decidueye's Grass and Flying attacks, even though the precise move pool won't be revealed until the raid goes live in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Iron Hands and Miraidon, two powerful Electric-type Pokémon, may also be used, however, Iron Hands must be cautious of Flying-type attacks.  The new Paradox Legendary Pokémon accessible in five-star raid battles, Walking Wake and Iron Leaves, will be available to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet players until Sunday, March 12. Players of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will have no shortage of tasks to keep them occupied this month, even though it is unknown at the time of writing whether or not these Pokémon will return.
