Kanika Bisht, popularly titled by Kani Gaming and Hydra Kani online, is a popular streamer on the homegrown streaming platform Loco.  Her community has expanded over time, and on Loco, her channel had over 138,000 subscribers and 3.55 million views. 

Kani has always been passionate about gaming, and while in college, she started playing PUBG Mobile. She started following Naman "MortaL" Mathur and Aaditya "Dynamo" Deepak Sawant, which gave her the motivation to start playing video games. Years later, after she had earned her college degree, her enthusiasm for streaming was reignited. Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), which was released after PUBG Mobile was banned in India, quickly earned her favorite pastime. She made the decision to start streaming, and in recent months, her channel has experienced tremendous success. 

What were the challenges she used to face?

•  Kani had to overcome her shyness.
• She had never played video games before, and she had never live-streamed to an audience.
• Only after gaining 100,000 followers, she decided to start streaming using a face cam.
• She used to experience a lot of self-consciousness and criticism from spectators. 

 Kani believes she now feels much more at ease working as a streamer. She has no intentions of ceasing streaming at any point. She just played PUBG religiously before she started streaming. She used to play Candy Crush and dress-up games, though, before discovering PUBG and BGMI.

 However, she wants to diversify her content after beginning her streaming career and has started playing games like Call of Duty: Mobile, Valorant, GTA V, and more. She quoted in a live stream," Before I started streaming, I had a normal student life during college. The lockdown days kept me at home for a very long time. But when I started streaming, it felt like I was doing something productive and I managed to turn my passion into a job. I have never been outside India and after starting my streaming journey I was able to go out with my friends it feels great to be independent and earn so many opportunities to achieve my dreams.”

Building consistency is right now Kani's primary objective. Regardless of how fantastic her content is, consistency has been lacking. She doesn't want her life's ups and downs to have an impact on her content. Thereby, we can be least assured to check out some wonderful content in the future.
