Rowlet, a Pokémon of the Grass/Flying type, can now be added to the roster of fighters in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate thanks to a mod. Following the viewing of a video showcasing Rowlet’s abilities, Smash and Pokémon fans are enthusiastic about the concept.

Although official support for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate may no longer be provided, new characters are still being added to the game. A number of new characters have been added by the game's active modding community using model swaps and other methods. The cutest must go to one of BeyondSmash's most recent mods, which lets you command the adorable little owl Rowlet from Pokémon.

BeyondSmash demonstrates their Rowlet mod on Twitter, showcasing both Rowlet in use as well as some of the variations you may use, which show Rowlet in various hues and sporting a variety of apparel and accessories. Despite the fact that this Rowlet model is a replacement for Jigglypuff, Above Smash went above and beyond to provide special animations and allusions to Rowlet’s appearance in the Pokémon anime.

It takes some effort to set up mods for games on the Nintendo Switch, but for fans who were sad that their preferred Pokémon did not make the cut, it’s a nice opportunity. Naturally, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has one of the largest fighting game rosters, giving players a wide variety of options to select from and practise with. Despite the vast roster, many players who expected to see fan favourites from a variety of game series didn’t get their wish. Players were holding out for everything from new Pokémon to Master Chief’s inclusion in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate up until the game’s final reveal. Since the game’s development has come to an end, mods like these are your only option for achieving your goals.

The Super Smash Bros. series has stopped after decades of game releases, commencing with Super Smash Bros. on the N64. Masahiro Sakurai, the director of the game, appeared prepared to go on to new endeavours, and he has previously stated that there are no plans at this time for a new Smash Bros. game at all. Even if it appears doubtful that there won't be another installment in the Smash series, it will probably be a very long time before it becomes a real possibility. Thankfully, devoted modders have made it possible for characters who have appeared or acquired popularity since the release of the game to be included in it as playable fighters, like Rowlet
