Valorant Game Changers for EMEA in 2023: Format Changes The VALORANT Game Changers International Championship, which G2 Gozen won after eliminating Shopify Rebellion in a reverse sweep, marked the end of the 2022 circuit. The 2023 season is already in the works at Riot Games. For the 2023 Game Changers season, Riot has introduced a new idea and framework that will stack the competition to take into account the spectrum of competitive VALORANT players' skill levels.

The new EMEA VCT Game Changers circuit will feature a 16-team competition. Teams will be qualifying for the league based on how well they do in regional tournaments, which will place them in the Game Changers EMEA: Contenders series. A spot in the primary league will be awarded to the winning side in the open qualification portion of the series. Starting in 2022, the top four teams will receive direct invitations to the Game Changers EMEA league. The top teams from the EMEA league will then have the chance to represent the region at the upcoming 2023 Game Changer World Championship.

EMERGENTS ARE VCT GAME CHANGERS IN EMEA

Thanks to the Emergents series, women who have attained Radiant rank in the game's Ranked system will have the opportunity to join a dedicated Discord community with a scoreboard and incentives. This Discord will reportedly be moderated by Riot, and in addition to hosting tournaments, it will serve as a focal point for the most recent news.

These programs will be associated with VCT Game. In order to give the Game Changers community "a chance to learn more about professions inside the VALORANT ecosystem," the Academy will focus on educational materials, according to a press statement.

VCT GAME CHANGERS EMEA: CONTENDERS

A brand-new competition category will be introduced as a part of the Contenders series, where the top-performing team will be given a spot in the Main Event instead of participating in qualifiers for Challenger events. To limit the number of contestants, open qualifiers will be employed in these competitions.

The VCT Game Changers EMEA will have a 16-team league, but only 12 seats will be awarded through contender tournaments, with the remaining four going to the teams that finished in the top four in terms of circuit points during the most recent GC season.
