Steam reports massive 20 MILLION spike in user numbers
Due to the outbreak of the pandemic disease which got spread all over the world most people are preferring to stay at home and not go out. This also might have been the reason CS:GO hitting over 1,000,000 concurrent players for the first time ever beating its previous records by some 75,000 players and now we have come across a data which reveals that Valve's digital gaming platform, Steam has been able to smash its all-time record for concurrent users over the weekend with a 24-hour peak set at 20,313,45. And, Out of the 20 million users logged on to the steam app on Sunday, nearly 6.4 million of them were actively playing a game. . At the moment CS:GO is the game at the top of the Steam charts, and away from Steam it's Call of Duty: Warzone that's drawing in big numbers, with 15 million players in its first week. With school closures beginning in the US and elsewhere, the numbers are likely to grow significantly in the coming weeks.
