Since The Wild Update was published in June of this year, the Minecraft 1.20 update has been one of the most eagerly awaited patches for the game. Yesterday, Mojang released some of the first official information on the Minecraft 1.20 update, which excited both players and content providers.

It is crucial to remember that the change was only partially disclosed. Mojang would not commit the same error as it did last year when both portions of the Caves and Cliffs upgrade were released, according to Agnes Larsson, the director of the original Vanilla Game for Minecraft. If Minecraft players do not recall, last year there were numerous launch conflicts with mobs like the warden and fireflies, which caused the warden to be delayed during Caves and Cliffs Part 2. The firefly mob was canceled at the same time by the devs. However, the elements that were released yesterday are still quite secure.

1. HANGING SIGNS

Hanging signs enhance the functionality of the game's existing sign blocks. Signs can only be placed in one position, however, hanging signs can be affixed sideways and hung in two different directions. Additionally, this offers players fantastic chances for the base and building design.

2. BAMBOO SIGNS

One of the most crucial game materials is wood, which has the power to make or break a player's survival run. Some of the most fundamental game components, including sticks, torches, crafting tables, and more, require wood to be made. In Minecraft, there are nine different types of wood that can be found. A tenth is expected to be added with the 1.20 update. The newest type of wood that players can use to create bamboo doors, slabs, staircases, planks, rafts, and other goods is called bamboo wood.

3. NEW DEFAULT SKINS

Since the game's early iterations, it has had two-character models. Steve, the male protagonist who initially appeared in the game in 2009, was the first figure to be utilized in gameplay. But because the audience also desired a female protagonist, Alex was added to the game in 2014. Since her inclusion, the game has continued with the two protagonists. The 1.20 update tries to remedy that and increase the game's diversity. Seven new default character models that users can use as skins will be provided by Mojang to do this.

4. CHISELED BOOKSHELVES

In Minecraft, a bookshelf block is a tool that assists users in building beautiful tables. However, it is currently useless and is usually thrown away if not employed inside the aforementioned magical table.

However, a brand-new category of bookshelf called the "chiseled bookshelf" will be added in the next Minecraft 1.20 update. A book and quill, a standard leather-bound book, as well as enchanted books can all be stored on the bookshelf thanks to its special features. This would make a great design for a player's home base library.

5. CAMELS

The surprise appearance of a brand-new mob, the Camel, was the biggest revelation during the Minecraft 1.20 presentation. The mob appears to be a substitute for the game's horses based on early gameplay, as players can ride camels exactly like they can ride horses. However, camels have the capacity to carry two players on their backs and can run and jump over terrain that other players may perceive to be too risky. Furthermore, camels can only be found in the desert biome, where communities that house this population of animals are located.
