The Xbox Series X has a black rectangular shape; however, one Xbox user has chosen to customize the device by making translucent rear panels. The Xbox Series X was developed by Microsoft and launched near the end of 2020 as the company's next-generation console to compete with Sony's PS5. It quickly gained popularity among gamers.

Although there were two Xbox consoles available in the most recent generation, many players preferred the more expensive Xbox Series X due to its potent technology. But other factors have contributed to its success besides the high-quality graphics. Additionally, a lot of gamers have praised the Xbox Series X's fresh look, and some users have begun customizing the system's foundation.

A YouTube user by the name of Modified is one of the players who has created unique components for their Xbox Series X. In particular, they had developed translucent back panels that could be exchanged for the next-generation system's standard back panel. Recently, modified published a video on their YouTube account showcasing the unique look. The translucent panels were shown from a variety of angles in the movie, indicating that they came in a range of colors, including green, blue, amber, and clear. They also included the holes required for cable plugging and ventilation.

Along with displaying the finished item, the YouTuber also described how the remarkable bespoke Xbox Series X part was made. They listed the supplies required to build the translucent back panels in the approximately five-minute video. Additionally, modified offered a number of films that demonstrated how they used the essential tools to create the design. Due to the time required to construct these, the inventor stated that they were not looking to sell many of these translucent back panels, although they did mention that they had made a few extras that interested fans may buy.

Undoubtedly amazing, these translucent back panels are not Modified's only original video game design. In fact, the YouTuber's channel features a lot of other gaming-related projects. Making a Pokemon Silver cartridge out of pure silver and creating an Xbox Series X casing out of metal are a couple of the highlights. They also just recently repaired a radio that was 70 years old.
