PlayStation gave a sneak peek today at the digital collectible awards you can win with PlayStation Stars, which will be open to everyone. PlayStation enthusiasts' favorite things, such as cherished gadgets that draw on Sony's longer history in consumer electronics, are represented by digital artefacts.

These first glimpse illustrations feature a scenario with Punto the gondolier from Ape Escape 2, a birthday celebration for Toro and Kuro, Chord Machine, and Polygon Man, among others.

These digital collectibles, which were made especially for PlayStation Stars, are exclusively available through PS's reward programme. In some cases, collectibles will be given out as a way to honor previous endeavors, successes, or product ownership. Similar to the actual things on which they are based or the work necessary to get them, they vary in rarity. As soon as you've accumulated treasures, you may arrange them in a digital display case within the PlayStation App. If you so desire, you can also allow others to see your collectibles case within your PSN profile. There will be several ways to obtain or earn collectibles, but completing campaigns will be the main method.

The PlayStation Stars campaigns will be enjoyable, wonderful, and occasionally difficult to complete. A campaign could be a collectibles or points-earning activity. In one of Play station's early campaigns, "Hit Play/1994," participants who successfully start games that correspond to musically-based clues are awarded a unique item. There will be more information about the campaign soon.

PlayStation Stars will debut on the PlayStation App first before eventually coming to PS console platform. PlayStation Stars will be launched in most markets starting later this month with Asia (including Japan), and the Americas and Europe to follow at a later date.
