Former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player Shayene "shAy" Victorio who used to  play for the team Keyd Stars Female and who had won the Brasil Game Cup Female in 2019 and had retired in May 2019 after an 11-year career spanning across CS 1.6 to Global Offensive. She started streaming full-time, often playing CS:GO and GTA V to her 30,000 followers on Twitch. She was sentenced to 116 years in prison for embezzlement  case which was investigated by the GAECO, a Brazilian task force that specializes in taking down organized crime according to reports from Brazilian media.  The Public Ministry of the State of São Paulo alleged shAy helped run an online retail store, failing to deliver on promises to customers to deliver goods. The court heard reports from 118 victims, who were allegedly scammed from 2013-2017. Although after which Victorio's lawyer issued a statement claiming that the undelivered items were simply the result of poor business administration, not fraud, and argued that the business had successfully delivered over 10,000 items. He also said that the 116 year sentence is absurd, seeing that the amount of money lost by the customers who didn't receive their orders is valued less than R$50,000 or around $10,900 USD.Brazil’s law dictates that a person can only be jailed for 30 years for a single crime, even if the court finds the crime to be worthy of a harsher punishment.

On an Instagram post made by her, she stated-
"I am not arrested and I will not be arrested. I am not even wanted like people are saying. It is a lawsuit of a problem that my ex 'husband' had and it harmed me. The time we split up, he took 100% responsibility, ".
