One of the most well-liked graphics cards in the RTX 30 series lineup is the Geforce RTX 3060 Ti. With 2% of the market, this high-end performance-oriented video card product is now the third most popular Ampere-based GPU, only behind the RTX 3060 and RTX 3070.

The RTX 3060 Ti cost $330 when it was first released. The graphics card was Nvidia's uncompromised 1080p gaming offering. The graphics card now costs $430. For this cost, gamers can purchase the card Gigabyte Eagle OC variant.

However, consumers must take into account a few additional elements that affect a graphics card's overall performance and usability when selecting one for a gaming system. The list includes value for money spent, competition, and more. These aspects make the RTX 3060 Ti appear to be a subpar choice for gamers in September 2022.

The RTX 3060 Ti is dying due to terrible price.

One of the quickest rendering devices on the market is the RTX 3060 Ti. The RTX 3070 is only 15% slower than this graphics card. When consumers contrast this video card's capabilities with the 1080p resolution it was designed for, it becomes more intriguing. At the current favoured resolution, the 3060 Ti handles any duty flawlessly.

When the card was introduced in 2020, its features made the 3060 Ti a fantastic deal. This video card was significantly more expensive ($330) than what the RX 6600 XT offered from the competitors. As a result, the RTX 3060 Ti became increasingly popular.

Early this year, prices for video cards finally began to rise after almost two years of scalping. Nvidia graphics cards retail for $100 to $150 more than their MSRP even if AMD graphics cards have dropped to their MSRP. In comparison, some of the most expensive Nvidia graphics cards have proven incredibly disappointing. When comparing products, the RX 6600 XT 8 GB, the 3060 Ti's main rival, has a starting price of $330. Compared to what Nvidia has to offer, the graphics card is a little bit slower. However, users can rationalise the performance disparity given the significant $100 difference.

When compared to the 3060 Ti, the RX 6600 XT had a lower price-to-performance ratio when it was first released in 2020. But today, everything has been completely turned around. Users can purchase the Radeon RX 6700 XT 12 GB video card for $10 more than the RTX 3060 Ti's current MSRP. This graphics card was designed for 1440p gaming and was formerly an RTX 3070 rival. The RX 6700 XT finally defeats the 3060 Ti in every workload and video card, which should come as no surprise.

Users who are prepared to spend $430 for the 3060 Ti and do not want to be constrained by the slightly slower RX 6600 XT video card can think about using the somewhat more powerful RX 6700 XT in their configuration.
