Ayaneo is a globally recognized company producing affordable version of premium handheld PCs. Ayaneo Air series of handhelds, a recent release, is believed to be a version far more superior to VALVE’s Steam Deck.

The Ayaneo Air Pro comes with an 1TB of internal storage along with a strong CPU. The device comes with AMD Ryzen 7 5825U and GPU- AMD Vega 8, 16 GB of RAM. It has a panel of 5.5-inch OLED. With all its features’ costs ranges around $699 to $1,099.

DESIGN: The Ayaneo Air Pro comes with a “Aurora” finish and is dominated by white color. It weighs only 450g but heavier compared to Nintendo Switch OLED. The creators planned something new for its bumpers and triggers as they are featured with metallic turquoise and pink gradient respectively, to make it more attractive.

FEATURES: It comes with windows11. Ayaspace is provided which handles the device’s TDP (that is responsible for the launching of the game). For optimal performance in AAA titles, the Ayaneo Air Pro is built up with its very own custom TDP, which is 18w. Other options include a 5W "Power Saving" mode, an 8W "Balanced" mode, a 12W "Game" mode, and a customized "Pro" mode that can be customized up to 18W.

GAMING PERFORMANCE: - With all its features Ayaneo Air Pro is of no doubt will prove the users of its high-performance graphics. But the Vega 8 Graphics is a downgrade because other handhelds have advanced chip set along with 6000 series CPUs.

INDIE TITLES: - While performing Dead Cells in Ayano Air Pro at around 1080p on 5W settings the device achieved 60 FPS with very less frame drops. The device's battery life was around three hours, which could be annoying sometimes for the gamers. It is believed that at 5W setting things should be fine.

OLDER GENERATIONS GAMES: - Finally Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance  was launched to testify its capacity because the Ayaneo Air has reach to a very large collections of games. This increased TDP to 12W and reduced the resolution for this game, which still looks fantastic on the 5.5-inch OLED. With some frame dips along the way, finally it was able to obtain a variable frame rate of 40–60FPS. However, the Ayaneo Air Pro is ideal for reliving old favorites.

AAA GAMING: - It came as shock when Elden Ring ran sucessfully in Ayaneo Air Pro. It was tested at 720p at 18W in a relatively low setting which gave around 30 FPS with partial frame drops.

ICyberpunk 2077 was played at the same settings resulting the framerate in indoor settings to fluctuate between the low 20s and 30FPS. Due to the resolution scaling and FSR, it wasn’t worth running.
