The gaming console industry has not been spared by the worldwide recession, which has begun to exhibit its repercussions across the enterprises. The cost of the PS5 Digital Edition and PS5 gaming consoles have recently increased in several areas according to Sony. It's fascinating to observe that Microsoft agreed against raising the costs of Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X.

The declaration is not a promise that the corporation won't ever raise the cost of the consoles again. But the fact that the business won't be raising the cost of its most recent generation of gaming consoles in any location as of now undoubtedly comes as a comfort to Xbox lovers.

Since Microsoft recently raised the costs of the Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X, this isn't really applicable to the Indian market. The Xbox Series S currently markets its products for Rs. 37,990 following two price increases. Parallel to this, even the more potent Xbox Series X is now Rs. 3,000 more expensive than it previously was at its launch.

The availability of stock has been a problem for Sony and Microsoft alike. While the Xbox Series S is widely accessible across most platforms in India, it may be difficult to buy the much more powerful and advanced Xbox Series X. The Sony PS5 is also difficult to locate and requires a hefty Price tag or black-market pricing to obtain it.

When compared to Microsoft's Xbox Series X and Series S game consoles, Sony has already become the dominant player in gaming consoles and has seen significantly higher sales. Microsoft's recent decision not to raise pricing, though, may help the business record higher sales numbers.

The Last of Us Part I and God of War: Ragnarok are just a handful of the new games coming to the Sony PlayStation 5. They are both quite popular games, which may aid Sony in maintaining the strong demand for their gaming systems.

In India, we could anticipate an identical price increase to that seen in Europe for the PS5 Digital Edition and PS5 with Ultra HD Blu-ray disc. Therefore, the PS5 Digital Edition price may rise by Rs. 3,000 or 4,000, while the PS5 with Ultra HD Blu-ray disc pricing is anticipated to rise by Rs. 5,000. The Xbox Series X and Series S consoles are still available for purchase at the same prices of Rs. 49,990 and Rs. 34,990, respectively.
