The ongoing fourth stage of the COD Mobile World Championship 2022 - the Regional Playoffs
for the regions of Europe and Japan have come to an end. Four teams, one from Japan and
three from Europe, were selected to advance Stage 5 of the competition.

Call of Duty Mobile World Championship 2022 features a prize pool of $2 million, with five
stages making up the competition. The 3rd stage ended on July 3rd in all competitive regions. It
is hosted by Activision in five regions which include India, Japan, North America, Latin America
(LATAM), and Europe. Following the completion of regional playoffs in India and Latin America,
it was Japan and Europe’s turn to participate in Stage 4, which took place on August 20-21,
2022.

Team Scarz from Japan Regional Playoffs and Animus, Limitless Esports, and Nova Esports
from Europe Regional Playoff secured their spots in the Call of Duty Mobile World
Championship Finals (Stage 5). The matches in both the regions were super exciting to watch
as they were packed with action. Fans witnessed players battling to gain an edge over another
and earn an opportunity to fight in the finals.

Four teams including Scarz, Team Vrilliant, 7iz, and BBV TOKYO advanced to the second day
of the playoffs, fighting in a double-elimination format for the Stage 5 slots. As per the one
reserved slot for Japan in the regional playoffs, team Scarz finished with a score of 4-0. Scarz
emerged as the victor winning $30,000 after the intense grand finals between Team Scarz and
Team Vrilliant.

For the European Regional Playoffs, three seats for World Championship Finals were reserved,
with teams Animus, Limitless Esports, and Nova Esports claiming them. After losing to Animus
in the upper bracket finals, Nova Esports faced Limitless Esports and won with a score of 3-0.
Nova Esports met Animus in the finals once again after demonstrating their worth in the lower
bracket finals. Animus won the playoffs championship with a score of 4-3.

The only regional playoffs left are for North America which is scheduled to take place on August
27-28, 2022. With the regional playoffs concluding after the North America playoffs, fans are
eagerly waiting to witness the World Championship Finals.
