Pokémon Unite World Championship 2022 crowns BLVKHVND as the ultimate champion

BLVKHND fails to lose a single match in the group stage and play-off,
makes history in the first ever competitive season for Pokemon UNITE,
The Pokemon UNITE World Championship Series 2022. This is the first
time a competitive season has been held for Pokemon UNITE since its
launch back in 2020. 13 Teams from around the world took part in the
offline event which was held in London.

In the final match, BLVKHND showcased dominance over Noun Esports
by remaining undefeated. Despite their effort to stand against the
undefeated BLVKHND, Noun Esports could bagg only one runners-up
trophy.

BLVCKHVND came into this tournament as the North American regional
champions and won the NA Regional Championship in 2022. The
BLVCKHVND roaster consisted of Junglebook, Slash, Elo, Kyriaos and
overlord.

In the Group Stage, BLVCKHVND was slotted in Group-c where the team
defeated both IClen and Apprentice Unleashed by 2-1 in their respective
series. It allowed them to top the series.

In the playoffs, they faced No show in the Upper Bracket Quarter Finals
and defeated them by 2-1. Similarly, after advancing to the Upper
Bracket Semi-finals, they took over IX Gaming and defeated them by 2-0.
Likewise, in the two previous matches, a similar story repeated itself in
the upper bracket Finals too with the Renaissance being knocked down
by them with 2-0.

With this momentum, BLVCKHVND was able to dominate Nouns Esports
in the grand finals and register a 3-0 clean sweep against them. Thus,
claiming a victory worth $100,000 as a cash prize.

The tournament offered an overall prize pool of $5,00,000. Other teams
like Nouns Esports were awarded $75,000 for being the runners-up.
Renaissance with 3rd position received prize worth $65,000.
