The PMWI 2022 Afterparty Showdown ended yesterday on August 20 th with the Thai team Vampire
Esports being declared the champions. There were 12 teams in total participating from all over the
world in this three-day-long event. The teams competed for a US $1 million prize pool.

In an amazing ‘how-the-tables-have-turned’ moment, Vampire Esports was placed seventh on Day 1.
but orchestrated a fantastic comeback after claiming six chicken dinners in the next two days to take
the title home. Alpha7 and Falcons came in at the second and third place respectively, followed by
S2G. On the other hand, 7SEA Esports secured the ninth spot, with Indian Superstar Scout being
declared the fan-favorite player.

Out of the prize pool of US $1 million, Vampire Esports walked away with US $167K while the
runners-up, Alpha7 Esports took home $144K, with Team Falcons grabbing a solid $108K of the lion’s
share.

Revo77K of Alpha7 was named MVP of the event for his 34 eliminations and 6900HP damage.

The 2022 PMWI had two phases, namely the Main Event and the Afterparty. Both the phases were
claimed by Vampire Esports dominantly. Falcons Esports finished second in the Main Event whereas
secured the third spot in Afterparty. A total of US $3 million prize pool was distributed in PMWI
2022.
