After a heated neck-to-neck tournament of the PUBG Mobile World Invitational (PMWI) 2022, the Day 1 came to an end, and the team representing India - 7SEA Esports has secured the 12th rank in the overall standing. Alpha 7 ESports bagged first place with 76 points and two chicken dinner.

Although 7SEA Esports and Stalwart Esports emerged victorious in two show matches, it is still not counted in the overall standings. Day 1 featured two show matches but the points achieved in show matches are not considered when ranking teams.
On the first day of the PMWI afterparty Showdown 2022, teams like Damwon Gaming from South Korea and Team Falcons from Saudi Arabia soared higher on the overall ranking with the former securing second rank and the latter aced the third position.
DAMWON Gaming made a total of 49 points with two chicken dinners and Team Falcons was close behind at 48 points. Stalwart Esports was positioned at fifth rank and Vampire Esports at seventh rank. Likewise, Team Bigetron RA and 7Sea Esports secured eighth and twelfth places respectively.

After a disappointing performance by 7SEA Esports on Day 1 PMWI 2022, fans are upset. The Indian team 7SEA Esports managed to make around 10 points which were harshly low and unacceptable on the part of the Indian audience. Despite their low scores, they were able to rank in the overall standings at 12 positions. With that being said, a silver lining appeared in the form of a chicken dinner that they secured in their first duo match of the day. In a perilous battle, ScoutOP's impeccable performance was crucial in securing the win against Stalwart Esports.

MATCH 1- ERANGEL

7SEA Esports got eliminated at the 10 rank on the first match in the Erangel map. They were trapped in a tight spot and were knocked down when they were trying to rotate. In addition to that, they could only manage to secure a single frag in their bout.

MATCH 2 - LIVIK

After their massive loss in the first match, their tough efforts to make a comeback in the game did not go in their favour with just a single kill to their name, and the game ended with them in the 11th position.

MATCH 3 - VIKENDI

The match on Vikendi seemed to raise hopes for 7SEA as they managed to give an impressive pull-off to a water rotation into the final circle. Despite losing to A7 Esports, the Vikendi game saw the team finish second with two frags.

MATCH 4 - KARAKIN

Unfortunately, 7SEA were eliminated without any frags. The team could not stand the strong opposition to stalwart Esports. Thus, indicating poor performance.

MATCH 5 - SANHOK

The match on Sanhok had the same results, with 7Sea getting defeated by Vampire Esports.

MATCH 6 - MIRAMAR

Miramar showcased the lackluster gameplay of 7SEA Esports against the herculean team, Team Falcons, where they failed to secure even 1 frag.
