The video was released as a part of publisher Bethesda's ongoing QuakeCon event featuring insight
from the development talent including studio director Harvey Smith, creative director Ricardo Bare,
art director Karen Segars and lead producer Aaron Carter.

Redfall consists of a story and is an open-world FPS that can be played solo or with a team having
four players. It let players fight in order to defeat vampires who have cut quaint island town of
Redfall from the world.

According to Smith, Redfall is a first-person game and RPG.

Bare says the reason behind making such a game is he himself like to play these kinds of games and
thus he likes tabletop RPGs as well. He like to witness and indulge into some dramatic scene. He
wants to come upon these tableaus which is almost ant farm like and check what's going on there,
what they are saying and try to suss out what they are doing and then jack with it in some way.
He also added, turning the vampire loose on them or putting explosives down, to snipe them from a
distance or observe a cultist fortress real far away and to find out a way to get in there, all these
things seem enticing to him.

Bethesda delayed the Redfall and Starfield release dates from 2022 to first half of 2023 when they
will be available for both Xbox Series X/S and PC.

The publisher says that the teams at Arkane Austin (Redfall) and Bethesda Game Studios (Starfield)
have great ambitions for their games and they want to let players get the best and polished versions
of them.

Bethesda also showed gratitude towards all for their excitement for Redfall and Starfield. This is
really inspiring for them and helps them to create something more exciting for the players.
