PMWI 2022 Main Event Day 3: Major updates

Following numerous outstanding performances throughout the massive event, the Thai team
Vampire Esports won the PMWI 2022 Main Event championship. They earned 220 points overall
in 18 matches, earning them $500K in prize money.

Falcons Esports, representing the home country, came in second with 197 points, while Stalwart
Esports took third with 180 points. Fourth- and fifth-place finishes were earned by Nigma Galaxy
and DAMWON Gaming, respectively. Team SouL from India won the day's last match and
claimed 11th position with 102 points. With a total of 37 kills, Action from STE (Stalwart Esports)
was surprisingly crowned the Main Event MVP.

Match I: Erangel

After edging out DAMWON Gaming in a close battle, Virtual Gaming Squad earned their first win
with five eliminations. With 14 finishes, Stalwart Esports performed well and earned second
place. They secured first place (156 points) in the overall rankings thanks to their steady efforts.
In the first game, DAMWON Gaming and Vivo Keyd scored 15 and 14 points each, compared to
Team SouL's four points.

Match II: Miramar

In the second game on the Miramar map, Team Back2Back finally found their footing and
earned a 13-kill Chicken Dinner, pushing them up to 16th place overall. After struggling
yesterday, Vampire Esports produced an incredible recovery to take second place. Stalwart
Esports, the current table leaders, only scored three points, and team SouL was eliminated by
TJB earlier in the dropping fight.

Match III: Sanhok

Vampire Esports grabbed their second Chicken Dinner and moved up to the second position in
the overall standings with an impressive 10 eliminations. Istanbul Wildcats and Virtual Gaming
both scored 20, respectively. A sudden zone movement caused the elimination of several teams
outside the circle. Team SouL accrued seven points in match three.

Match IV: Erangel 

In the final circle of the fourth round, Back2Back, Falcons, and Vampire engaged in bloody
combat. With 13 frags, Vampire was able to easily win back-to-back Chicken Dinners, while
Falcons took second place with seven eliminations. While Team SouL only earned two points,
Stalwart Esports put up a dismal performance that caused a drop in the overall standings.

Match V: Miramar

Once more, the Falcons wowed spectators with an amazing performance, winning with 12 kills.
On the other side, the Istanbul Wildcats continued to play consistently and scored 22 points.
Stalwart and DAMWON Gaming each earned 13 and 12 points, while SouL only managed to
collect seven.

With 198 points after Match 5, Vampire Esports was in the first place, followed by Falcons in
second place by just two points. Stalwart scored 178 points to place third.

Match VI: Erangel

In the last match of the PMWI 2022 Main Event, Team SouL secured their first Chicken Dinner
with 12 eliminations, while Back2Back and Vampire Esports managed to finish second and third,
respectively.
