The much-anticipated strategy role-playing game (RPG) by Firaxis Games - Marvel’s Midnight
Suns - has received yet another setback in terms of delay in its release date. As per the latest
update from the developers’ team, this recent delay is in the best interest of the game, as it will
provide an ‘overall polish’ in the extra months.

The Hunter, the game's protagonist, is a customizable character who will team up with some of
our favorite Marvel superheroes throughout the game. The Hunter's superpowers can be
selected from more than 40 different skills by players. The gameplay objective of Marvel’s
Midnight Suns mainly focuses on taking on missions and spending time at the game hub The
Abbey, where players can explore the environment, upgrade their equipment along with getting
to know their superhero teammates.

The launch window was moved back to the second half of 2022 from the original release date of
March 2022. It was later announced that the game is expected to release on October 7, 2022,
only to get further delayed this time. As of now, the team hasn’t come up with any exact date for
the game to finally launch. However, PC, Xbox Series X | S, and PlayStation 5 gamers can
expect its release later this fiscal year. Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch shall
receive different release dates.

Noting the delay, an update from the team informs, “We decided to share that we’ve made the
very tough decision to move our launch window to the second half of 2022. We know many fans
were looking forward to playing the game next spring, and this decision did not come lightly. We
decided to push our launch because we need more time to make this the best game possible.”
