Modern Warfare 2 will be released on October 28 but beta access will be available a month prior to
the release. 

There will be an Open Beta that will be for all the players and available on all formats and those who
pre-ordered Modern Warfare 2 will get extra period of early access.

PlayStation owners will get access to the beta for two weekends and Xbox and PC owners will only
get second weekend for the access.

As per Activision, the beta will be made available on the below-mentioned dates:

PlayStation:

•  Early Access - September 16-17
•  Open Beta - September 18-20
•  Open Beta - September 22-23
•  Open Beta - September 24-26

Xbox and PC:

•  Early Access - September 22-23
•  Open Beta - September 24-26

The first beta weekend (September 16-20) will be exclusively available on Play Station 4 and
PlayStation 5 and the second weekend (September 22-26) will be made available to everyone.
Crossplay will be active in the second weekend which means PlayStation, Xbox and PC players will be
able to play together irrespective of the platform.

As per Activision, the beta will feature a robust multiplayer experience going beyond the Core 6v6
experience and it will also have a variety of maps and modes.

By playing beta, players will get a chance to win exciting rewards that will be available in the main
Modern Warfare II game during the release.

on September 15. This program will provide new information on Modern Warfare II, Warzone
and the mobile version of Warzone.
