The Pokemon World Championships, which are typically held in August each year, showcase
the world's top Pokemon players. Players of the Pokemon TCG and Pokemon UNITE can earn
Championship Points in tournaments throughout the Championship Series season to qualify for
Worlds Championship. The Pokemon World Championships of 2022 will be held in London,
England, from August 18 to 21, 2022, with the ExCeL London events complex serving as the
event's location.

Competitors for the 2022 Pokémon World Championships can sign up online and can be from
the Pokémon TCG, video game, Pokémon GO, Pokémon UNITE, and Pokkén Tournament DX.
Even if one doesn’t get a chance to compete in the main competition at the Pokemon World
Championships, fans can still have a blast by going as a spectator. Getting entry as a spectator
requires one to obtain a badge which should be worn throughout the event space. Additionally,
it gives them access to participate in various side events throughout the four-day event.
