Discord is increasing the amount of people who can simultaneously view a live stream from 10 to 50

Due to the Outbreak of corona and because of the lock down in most of the places to cancelling of most of the big events due to Corona Virus, Discord has decided to help people in making the transition to a remote lifestyle a little easier for users with expanded communication features and options. Normally, Discord screen share can only be viewed by up to 10 people at a time. Now people will be able to invite more friends to watch, play, and just hang out in general.

In a statement, Discord detailed that the company will be expanding its livestreaming and chat features for all users to help those affected by the coronavirus to maintain contact with others, or to assist employees and students that are working or studying remotely. Specifically, the company said that it will increase its livestreaming and screen share features from 10 to 50 users “for the next few months,” and that it will “keep this limit up while it’s needed most critically.”
