Leyndell lies at the heart of the Lands Between, which is home to the Erdtree. It is one of the most critical places in the Elden Ring. At the foot of a massive tree, Marika did build her seat of power, a glimmering stronghold on Atlus Plateau bearing various dark secrets. In Lands Between, Leyndell is supposedly the only place that has not been affected by the horrors of the Elden Ring. After acquiring a few of the Great Runes, the players will get guided to the Leyndell, where they strive hard to become the Elden lord in hopes of ruling the world of the Elden Ring. Nevertheless, Leyndell will throw very engaging and challenging gameplay to the players.

About Leyndell, Royal Capital

The journey to Leyndell will lead the players closer to the goal than ever. Leyndell, Royal Capital is a labyrinthine Legacy Dungeon that the players can encounter in the Atlus Plateau region in the Elden Ring. It is where the players can find dynamic items, discover secrets, defeat enemies, and beat the boss. 

Leyndell introduces various new exciting people to the players, including the women of the village of Dominula surrounded by the Windmill Pastures. These strange women will dance and laugh creepily all along the region with their faces smeared in blood. Amongst the Omen found in this region of Leyndell, Morgott and Mohg, sons of Marika and Godfrey, were amongst the Omen buried under Leyndell. The players will discover that Morgott is significantly influential in Leyndell. On the way to the throne, the players will encounter the first significant boss of Leyndell, Godfrey. But, they will have to fight a Golden Shade spectral version of him only to realize that the true lord of Leyndell is Morgott. On defeating Morgott, the players will win Morgott’s Great Rune and the Remembrance of the Omen King as rewards. After the defeat, Morgott will reveal to the players why he has claimed the title of Elden Lord and that no one can get the Elden Ring as thorns guard the opening of the Erdtree, and there is no other way to get access to it.
