After years of anticipation, the release of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is nearly upon us. The new release, which covers the events of all nine main Star Wars films, boasts a slew of gameplay upgrades over its predecessors from previous platform generations. This includes the ability to summon the famous Death Star, which may then be seen from the surface of a planet.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is the sixth instalment in TT Games' LEGO Star Wars video game franchise, and the sequel to 2016's LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The game with the greatest gap between entries will be released on April 5, 2022, however, some players have acquired LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga early.

One of the early LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga recipients is a duo of YouTube content makers known as Lunar Squadron. Obtaining a pre-release copy from publisher Warner Bros. The YouTubers, Interactive Entertainment, have a Let's Play video in which they explore the ecumenopolis planet of Coruscant. Before landing on the planet, the Lunar Squadron announces that they have already won the game and that they can instantaneously call the Death Star to materialise in front of them. Following the appearance of the renowned space station, they travel to Coruscant's Uscru District, when a glance at the sky shows the towering Death Star.

With the release of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, the fan-favourite video game franchise is seeing a major revival in popularity. One speedrunner even played the first ten LEGO video games in 20 hours in anticipation of the debut of The Skywalker Saga, demonstrating how desperately fans want this game to come out.
