After the official announcement of PlayStation subscription services which will be divided into three tier-based subscription plans, PlayStation now receives a new April update of Outer Wilds along with other titles. The announcement dictated that the existing plans will be merged into new plans with new updates, changes, features, and games. Playstation premium among all three seems to be more expensive than the rest three but with more add-on options, features, and games to access. Sony’s massive revamp of PlayStation online services is on its preparatory track of being launched very soon. As of now PlayStation Now has added outer wilds in its service along with other titles like Journey to the Savage Planet and Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood.

Outer Wilds was first released in 2019 for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and was developed by Mobius Digital and published by Annapurna Interactive. The game is an action-packed adventure game that features an opportunity for the players to explore a solar system stuck in a 22-minute time loop. The end of the game comes as the sun goes supernova. 

The central theme of the game is an exploration where the players are encouraged to decode the secrets of an extinct alien race named Nomai, to decipher the cause of the time loop. Although the game locations are accessible after acquiring ship launch codes, some locations are still protected by logic puzzles. To complete the game players have to collect information about Noami and learn more about the entire race. The player character has health, fuel, and oxygen meters. The characters can refill whatever they need like fuel, and oxygen meter after returning to the ship or by finding trees or refills. There are no equipment upgrades during the game.
Outer Wilds have received critical acclaim and won a number of Game of the Year awards, including the British Academy Games Award under the Best Game category. It received an expansion, Echoes of the Eye, in 2021. 

“Journey to the Savage Planet” is another game on the list of new April updates of Playstation Now. This racing game celebrates 50 years of the FIA World Rally Championship, and the game launched in 2021.

Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood will be added to PlayStation Now. The players can sneak around as a wolf to play stealthily, chat to people as a human, or turn into a werewolf and tear enemies apart. PlayStation Now will be around here for less than a month in its current existing form, as the service merges with PlayStation Plus in June 2022.
